One of the greatest advantages that a Kingdom entrepreneur has in the marketplace is “The BLESSING.” It bestows God’s empowerment for success, and brings supernatural prosperity, wisdom, and access to all of His resources.

In these last days, The BLESSING is what will distinguish you, taking you from obscurity to global impact and influence seemingly overnight.

When I moved to Chicago from Minnesota, I only had $200, my family and I had no place of our own to live, and no one knew my name. But I had faith which connected me to God’s covenant, The BLESSING.

Now, we are prosperous, and the ministry owns two shopping malls, a business school, a ministry school, a television broadcast that reaches potentially one billion households globally, and much more. God first introduced The BLESSING in Genesis 1:28,

The BLESSING is what God placed on Abraham and his seed (you and me).

Notice, “dispensing good to others” could include the products and services of a company.

In short, The BLESSING is the covenant of God that overrides the curse, the anointing of God through which divine favor flows, and the power of God to produce and bring forth what He has already planned for this planet, from peace and joy to innovative products and services to technologies to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

The BLESSING is the scriptural name that God gave the power He used to create the earth, and He expects us to use it for the same purpose― being fruitful through creation and innovation.

If you operate a kingdom business, your business should stand-out and be an attraction to the world. And, The BLESSING is the primary way that God plans to distinguish you and your business on the world stage.

See yourself this way: As part of a new marketplace leadership who God is raising up to operate in The BLESSING and, without fail, change the course and destiny of communities, cities, and nations.

Peter and his miracle catch of fish in Luke, chapter 5, changed the entire coastal economy of Capernaum. The BLESSING in and on you can do the same thing. God can cause the wealth-creation and profits of your company, gained through God-inspired ideas and innovative products and services, to equal the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of a small country.

The BLESSING Brings Forth A New Economy

God’s empowerment for success is how George Washington Carver changed the economy of the South at the turn of the 20th century, saving the livelihood of both the white and black farmer.

Dr. Carver received inspired ideas directly from God by faith. He would go into his laboratory without any textbooks and seek God’s thoughts.

He produced over 300 discoveries from the peanut and over 118 from the sweet potato. The BLESSING on Carver’s life distinguished him and gave him immense influence.

In 1921, Carver was invited to address the U.S. Ways and Means Committee concerning the potential uses of the peanut. Thomas Edison offered him a position with a six-figure income but Carver turned it down. His work at Tuskegee University (then called Institute) and changing the economy of the South were at the heart of his calling.

God gave The BLESSING to Adam and Eve, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and all the seed of Abraham for one purpose: To take dominion over the earth, which includes the marketplace.

Through this empowerment for “fruitfulness” found in Genesis 1:28, we are to establish the Kingdom of God everywhere we are sent.

Our businesses, our innovation and our wealth should be a commercial for God, pointing the unsaved world to Jesus Christ.

Empowered by The BLESSING, our superior performance and miracles in the marketplace are meant to display God’s goodness and attract people to the Kingdom, just like superstars Lebron James and Michael Jordan make Nike look good and bring value to its brand.

God wants to use our kingdom businesses to transform the world and to create so much wealth that we can, as one man said, help meet the budgets of nations.

The BLESSING Knows What to Do

If you are a born-again believer, The BLESSING is on and in you. Your job is to release it through words of faith in God’s promises.

One such promise is “The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee” (Deuteronomy 28:8).

Begin to boldly speak (by faith) God’s Word over your business, your customers, your employees, and call in what you desire to happen this year. Job 22:28 AMP says, “You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways.”

You just speak. The BLESSING takes over from there because it knows what to do. Expect God to open your eyes to opportunities and direct your next steps.
