Post-2022 BLC Conference Impact Byline Articles

As creatures in this world, we look at current situations and we make determinations solely based on what we know with our limited knowledge. God is infinite and He operates outside of time. He is so powerful and His foreknowledge is perfect. He knows what lies ahead and what we need in totality. Christ was the greatest Teacher the earth has ever known, and here’s what He said,
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10)

This scripture is derived from the prayer the Lord taught His disciples to reflect on, which encapsulates the understanding that God’s kingdom has not been entirely fulfilled on the earth. When we say, “Thy kingdom come,” it’s in expectation of the desire of Christ coming in the future, but “Thy kingdom come” also focuses on the aspect that for believers, the Kingdom is here and now.

Accessing the Promises of God

As people of the Lord, we want to see God’s kingdom increase and become increasingly powerful and established throughout the world during our dispensation. This allows us to access the promises of God. He has great things in store for you that you can’t even imagine, but if you want to see His promises fulfilled in your life, you have to give Him something to work with. That’s the question, “What are you giving God to work with?”
Not only does Matthew 6:10 tell us, “Thy kingdom come,” it also says, “Thy will be done….” We have to be sure we are opening ourselves up to understanding and doing God’s will. His will is not the same for everybody. You have to emphatically know which open door to walk through to seize the opportunity God has for you.

Don’t Become Distracted

You must listen and understand what God is saying, and don’t become distracted. Distraction can be costly and disruptive. Every time you do something outside God’s will, it is going to cost you two, twenty or a hundred times more. Why? Because you’re trying to follow someone else’s formula for success rather than going before God to seek His direction and guidance. With so many voices in our lives, we sometimes get sidetracked with simple and insignificant things. With our fast-paced, busy and consuming lifestyles, sometimes we forget to stop and be still, and listen to the voice of the Lord.
We know that God transports His miracles through a vehicle called “faith.” What we sometimes fail to appreciate is that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. In other words, faith is the significant ingredient that encapsulates hope. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Without hope, you have no expectancy. And without expectancy, there is no glory. And where there is no glory, there is no God.
But when your faith reaches the place of undisrupted trust, and a trial comes, an attack comes, trying to destroy you and wipe you out; that’s when faith says, “It’s not going to break me down. I know it came to take me down, but I’m not going to let it!” Then you know your seed of hope has matured and it’s operable. When your seed of hope is operable, it allows the stamina in you to stand up through the power of God and declare, “No weapon formed against me can prosper!”
If you want to be assured that you’re walking in faith and the path that God has designed for your life, you must pray without ceasing. You must pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done.”
